Original shackle for the Dart 18 traveler car. This shackle fits precisely and ensures that the mainsheet block does not get caught behind the traveler car, which can happen with other shackles. This stainless steel shackle has a manually applied crossbar with a weld, and over the years, a break can occur. This crossbar ensures that the block stays in place and does not shoot under the car during a jibe or tack. Replacing the shackle is simple; remove the traveler car from the beam by unscrewing the track end stop at one of its ends. Place the car on its side and remove the pin at the bottom that is attached through both eyes with a punch. The pin is also available separately, see WS02165.
