Shipping costs and estimated transit times

We try to work with fixed shipping costs to make life easy, but sometimes transport companies suddenly change their prices for various reasons. If that happens we will contact you about the costs before shipping. 

United Kingdom - minimum order value
Due to changes in the UK VAT regulations, introduced on January 1st 2021, the minimum order value for shipments to the UK is £135 (approx. €165,-). This means that orders valued below this amount unfortunately cannot be shipped from Sailcenter to the UK. 

Ex-VAT delivery non-European countries
Sailcenter is able to deliver packages ex-VAT to non-European countries. It is however possible that local authorities in the country of destination charge any type of administration fee in order for the customer to receive the package. Sailcenter has no influence in this as it is totally dependent on the country of destination and the postal company. In case any (additional) costs are charged, these are the responsibility of the customer.

Logistics
For shipments we use PostNL and TNT Expresse. We ship packages on working days, from Monday till Friday.

Collect in shop
Besides shipping, we offer the possibility to collect your order in our shop. No shipping costs will be charged for this option. For address and opening hours, click here.

Shipment procedure

• After you have placed your order you will receive a confirmation by e-mail. After this, we will get your order together. We ship every working day (Monday till Friday). We pursue that orders placed before 2 pm on Monday till Friday will be processed the same day.
• Your parcel will be collected from us by PostNL or TNT with a track & trace code. For the status of your order, please follow this track & trace code.
• PostNL / TNT offers the package to you at the address indicated. If you do not have the opportunity to accept the package, it will be offered the next day again.
• If you choose the option 'collect' you will receive an e-mail as soon as the items are ready for pick up. Please note, Sailcenter is open from Tuesdays till Saturdays from 10 am till 6 pm. You have not received a confirmation e-mail? Please contact us to check whether you can pick up your order.
• When shipping to a country outside the EU you can get a VAT refund. Charges for importing (local dusties, service fee) are at your expense. For more details upon your situation please contact us.

Can I change my order or add something?
If you want to change anything in your order please contact us as soon as possible on shop@sailcenter.com.
As long as your order not has been shipped you can add extra items by placing an extra order with a remark ‘add to my prevouius order. Choose "collect@sailcenter" to avoid double shipping charges.

Can change my delivery moment or my delivery address?
You can change these as long as the order has not been shipped yet. Please contact our Customer Service on shop@sailcenter.com.

• Returns must first be made known to Sailcenter within 30 days after purchse and are only accepted if return instructions of Sailcenter be closely monitored.
• The warranty expires when the clothing is worn and / or washed, or attempt to repair the defect yourself.
• Once we have received your returned items, your refund will be processed within 14 days.

Estimated delivery time of small / standard packages

Standard package are:

• All PostNL deliveries
• TNT Expresse up to 240cm; f.e. Optimist sails, Laser lower masts

PostNL compared to TNT Expresse:

PostNL hands over to local shipping services, TNT Expresse uses its own network only and claims therefore to be more reliable. Generally spoken, shipping by TNT Expresse has faster customs clearance in case of shippings outside the EU.

TNT Expresse is part of the FedEx organization and -world wide distrubution network.
